Match report

A report in 2 languages but still only 1 point

All was joined together to attend a good match of football: the sun was part, the ground in extreme cases muddy and our team motivated with the idea to go up in top of the classification with Jefke which accomodated Ireland.

Captain Drury had selected 13 players. In the absence of Lars the Viking, Steve-o was associated Nilsy in the middle of ground. Didi, Cameron, Ali and Sam formed the defensive quartet. Johnny 5 and Pieter the salmon took the two corridors while Hodgy and Michele took their place with the attack. Milk and Terry remained on the bench and became the two reserves of luxury.

The first half began and we had directly understood that the match would be very difficult. After the defeat of the first confrontation, Portuguese had decided to get strong, finally to put weight, in the middle of the pitch. Our team tried to put the pressure on the ennemy defense but the inaccuracies or the candles worthy of a match of Rugby each time made move back our team. The referee whistled many small faults following the many cries of our Portuguese scenario writers.

After 15 minutes, the referee forgot to whistle a fault on our defense. The unfavourable captain and better Portuguese player in my opinion, recovered the ball and placed of a splendid striking the balloon in the ceiling of the goal. The error of referred gave additional energy and the pressure ended up bearing its fruits and the referee granted to us a penalty for a large fault. Our serial killer Hodgy converts it without problem with Olympian calms.

The referee whistled the half-time on the score of 1-1 and the shown spectacle was rather poor bus a team had come to play football and the other made the antione with releases, simulations and complaints with each action (typical example, the word “CHARAï”).

The second half-time was a copy of the first: our team still pushed and still but the completion was not with go. Another fact of match was the red chart of the Portuguese guard. Cameron gave the ball quiet to him so that it hurries a little but this one did not appreciate this gesture and violently threw the ball towards the head of Cameron. The referee took his responsability and requested it to go to take its shower. Milk tried to give rythm in the match but unfortunately, the match finished on this null match which does not arrange the british. English turned over frustrated to the cloakroom…

Conclusion: bad weekend for the english-speaking because Jefke beat Ireland on score 2-1 and Lorraine took also the three points on a score arsenal.

The word of the end: the way towards the title is still long and the large matches will arrive quickly… keep the high head and keep marchin on !!!
