RBBFC2 were playing at home, with the aim to keep a lead well fought and suffered since the beginning of this crazy season. The best day of the week offered a perspective of a big match: RBBFC2 were facing Union JP, who had not lost since December, after a tough match away that finished with a draw. Entente took the chance and cut the gap at the top of the league race to one point, so RBBFC2 will have to fight four more finals. It was a beautiful warm day and after a coffee, for who likes it, all the team was together in this so hot and spicy changing room. After a couple of minutes, you could feel these smells of special creams and balsam in any corner. Flamby arrived and anyone present sang how much was "chouette” Nicolas Lambers. Dj Lolo turned the music on and, as usual, made disgusting threats to Daniele. Daniele, as usual, protected himself in the far corner: not really a good strategy…

Nobody could wait any more to go out to the pitch. Capitano began the speech while recalling us to all the way of approaching this match: high degree of concentration, and a big team spirit. Everyone had to help each other by fighting every ball. Wings high, strong defence and burning attack. We were ready for the warm-up in Diego’s style.

RBBFC2 started quietly while the opponents were not really threatening. RBBFC players were well placed, proposing a good football thanks to a good midfield made up of Luka the revenant, Patrick the hero and Horacito Baby. Pellegry and Tarik always showed their face to give an option while Daniele and Alfredo were constantly moving in front. RBBFC2 defense was completely jobless with Bon-Bon, the operator Gunter and Baresimone closing upo and starting on the creation of the plays, by giving good passes to the midfielders. Union JP's defense was very high and RBBFC2 felt that this could be a good source of creating danger.

And so they did. Luka's quality in the midfield shined with two great balls over the defense. In both cases the wingers coming from the second line were left alone, but Pellegry and Tarik could not finish with success the two actions.

However, things started to look better for the home team when Pellegry, protecting his ball, heard and felt the call from Mineo and put a really good looping ball between the central defenders. Mineo, who fixed the ball for a long time, chose the craziest way to give RBBFC2 the lead: a kung-fu shoot (perhaps a homage to Cruijff?) which ended its run at the right top corner. GOAL flying Mineo! 1-0 for the crazy boys!

RBBFC2 realised that this game could not finish like the previous one, the opportunities were going to be not only dangerous, but decisive. RBBFC continued to play the ball using Patrick, Luka and Horacio. In one of the plays, Tarik le fou found Daniele in the space, but the little boy ended his run at the ground, claiming a penalty. His claims only resulted with a "fight” and a yellow card for him. Calm came back and concentration too.

Meanwhile, Union JP had no other solution than playing long balls but they found Puig Neuer or defenders heads. RBBFC2 continued to play and to create danger: Gunter, after a well recovered ball, passed it to Henriquez in the middle who found Mineo, who on a one-two gave the ball back to Horacio who put an excellent cross to Mineo. His header found a great stop by the goalie.

RBBFC2 wanted more and more and kept pushing hard. Signor Rossi, who took his usual foot in the face during a challenge (a precious fault taker, a little bit insane), with the head up, launched Alfredo El Alma de Sevilla in the space and propelled him in a boulevard in front of the goal: excellent run and ball over the keeper. GOAL Gonzalez! 2-0 for RBBFC! Well deserved if looking at RBBFC superiority in this game for now. Short after, the ref whistled to close a first half full dominated by RBBFC2.

Second half began more or less with the same intensity. The trio Horacio-Daniele-Alfredo never stopped to move allowing many different solutions in front. Tarik was always well placed at the right to offer a solution for Luka, who managed the ball in a shining way, but also in defense. Mark pushed also hard in his channel with a lot of passes exchanged with Patrick. And it worked: Pellegry saw Mineo asking for the ball and found him with an aerial ball: the little boy tried a strange direct head (he probably felt as a flying man yet) which almost surprised the goalie! Gonzalez followed well on the deflection, but the goalie reacted good and avoided any more trouble.

And from heaven to hell, this is football. After a clear chance that could have killed the match, Union JP managed to bounce back the best way they could. A long pass that surprised the wall at the back, left the striker one on one with Puig and…GOAL for Union JP : 2-1!

Was that dangerous for RBBFC? Union JP got his momentum and few minutes after another long ball ended up with again a one on one with Puig. This time, however, the shot went wide. A little bit of suffering for around ten minutes but RBBFC took the game’s control again. Some fresh replacements made their entrance to the pitch: Claudino for Gonzalez. Before his sub for Charlie-trying-to-return-on-fire-after-his-injury, Daniele El Apache received an inviting pass by Horacito El Flaco, and after a good run, Mineo did not found Henriquez because of a good return by the defender. The las minutes were well managed, with good pressing by Diego and Charlie that allowed the team to stay high. Referee finally whistled the end of the match and RBBFC2 were very haqppy, knowing that the best team had won and, this Team, still remained TOP OF THE LEAGUE! The kisskiss fever could continue for one more week!

RBBFC had the time to celebrate this important victory in the changing room with a first tournée of beer. The moral was so Bon! Even Lolo decided to be kind with our little molested Italian and the shower was pretty quiet. Also, the first team participated in the voting for man of the match and were happy to celebrate with us! Come on whites, 3 more games!

Gunter celebrated his 250th game for this club with all the team! We love you Gunter! Legend!
