Match report : Tourinnois vs RBBFC 2

After a great win last saturday against Vollenback, we were in the good mood to keep in this way.

We finally managed to score and we don’t intend to stop now !

The third game was against Tourinnois 2, a team playing on the smallest grass pitch of the championship.

Once arrived to the far away pitch, Loic noticed that he forgot his ID.

He was thinking too much about his nap in Miguel’s car that he forgot it…

Without Loic, the team was the follow 14 players, with a strong 4-4-2 line-up :

Start 11 :

GK : Gilbert

Defenders : Erwan, Martin, Nico, Reynald

Midfielders : Gary, Miguel, Ale, Kosta

Forwards : Daniele & Charlie

Subs : Tbag, Zak & Sjoerd

The game started well. Only 2 minutes after the kick-off, Charlie had a shot at the goal. The ball is pushed back by the goalkeeper.

Kosta followed the action and scored.

It’s 1-0 for us.

After 7 minutes, the opponents launched a ball to our defense where Nico was challenging the ball against their forward. Nico received the knee of their forward into his stomach and reacted by hitting his hand into the chest of the opponent.

Nico is send off with a red card. The opponent only received a yellow card after acting like he received something into his face (could give him an Oscar for this).

Down to 10 mens, our vice-captain Charlie is subbed by Zak to replace Nico in defense.

We were now playing with only 1 striker.

Even with 10 mens, they were struggling to shot and to have good opportunities.

We were fighting and showing them our team spirit !

25 minutes after the beginning, we scored 2-0 by a shoot on the right from Gary that was again pushed back by the goalkeeper and scored by Kosta who followed the action.

It’s nearly a copy/paste from the 1st goal.

The first half ended with the score of 2-0.

The second half was intense, we were there in every single duel, not letting them a chance to score.

Around 20 minutes in the 2d half, Reynald was subbed by Tbag. He made a good entrance and was fighting for every challenge he had.

5 minutes after Tbag, Daniele is subbed by Daniele. Sjoerd took Kosta’s position and Kosta took Daniele’s position. He tried to push and help the team scored a 3rd goal.

Unfortunately, we had some opportunities but we didn’t succeed to score.

Nearly at the end of the match, the opponents had a offensive opportunity but the ball went out like 1 meter from the line.

All our players stopped playing but the referee did not whistle anything.

So the opponents continued to play the action and a foul was committed in the penalty box. The referee whistled a penalty and they made 2-1.

We went directly claming this disgrateful decision to the referee. He didn’t said a thing. However, we asked him how many minutes was left. He said the match was over.

So Kosta did the pass to Miguel, who shoted it far away to the opponent goalkeeper waiting to the referee to whistle the end of the game.

He didn’t do anything even if he said that the match was over. He kept the game playing for around 5 more minutes.

At the very end, they had a throw-in near the right corner. The opponent send it close to the penalty spot and they scored. It’s 2-2. The match is now over.

The final score is a shame for football.

Even with 11 players against 10, they couldn’t make it.

They had to be 12 (with the referee) to « draw », not even being able to win.

Our team has shown dedication, effort & great team spirit. We can only be proud of ourselves boys !!!

Let’s now focus on the next game and show to the others teams who are the Bang Bang Squad.
